As a litigator, policy advocate, and communications expert, Kimberly Russell approaches each client with outstanding strategy and dedication. In 2023, Kimberly’s litigation efforts led to more than $10 million in settlement offers to her clients. Her work at the Mississippi Supreme Court improved the state’s child welfare system and contributed to a safe reduction of the foster care population by 30%. Before law school, Kimberly managed the morning show as a producer for the ABC affiliate in Tulsa, Oklahoma. 

Kimberly is an active member of the American Bar Association and its Young Lawyers Division. In 2023, she was appointed to the division’s First-Generation Attorneys Initiative. Kimberly is deeply invested in mentoring current and prospective law students. She strives to give back the support she received from her law school mentors.

In her free time, Kimberly enjoys strength training, listening to Beyonce, and walking her dog, Mikey. She’s lived in eight states and the District of Columbia. All that moving resulted from her parents’ careers as broadcast journalists. Coincidentally, that childhood inspired her to pursue justice and truth through clear communication and advocacy.
